Medication-Assisted Treatment
Lighthouse offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which combines medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat opioid and alcohol use disorders and help individuals reach recovery. MAT is based on the idea that medications can help reduce the cravings and withdrawal symptoms that often lead to relapse, while counseling and behavioral therapies can address the psychological and social factors that contribute to addiction.
Lighthouse utilizes buprenorphine (Suboxone, Sublocade injections, Brixadi injections) and naltrexone (oral tablets, Vivitrol injections) medications for MAT of opioid use disorder and acamprosate (Campral) and naltrexone (oral tablets, Vivitrol injections) for the treatment of alcohol use disorder. We provide MAT in a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we meet the individual where they are in their journey to recovery. We treat the whole person, addressing both substance use disorders and mental health during treatment. Our services offer medical and counseling appointments on the same day for convenience. MAT is an evidence-based and effective approach to help improve the quality of life and health outcomes of people with substance use disorders. In addition to MAT, Lighthouse offers comprehensive outpatient treatment for other substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
