About Our Outpatient Programs

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT (IOP)

Our Intensive Outpatient program provides 9 to 19 hours of structured programming each week and continues to be tailored to the needs of each client. We utilize a step-down approach in which clients begin at 5 days per week, and then move to 4, and finally 3 days per week. Services include:

  • Group and individual counseling
  • Medication-assisted treatment (SUBOXONE® and VIVITROL®)
  • Mental health evaluation and medication management
  • Random drug screening
  • Case management
  • Nursing services

In addition to providing clinically effective treatment services to our clients in 5, 4, and 3 day IOP, Lighthouse embraces the whole individual to help encourage a strong sense of self. We offer groups based on a wide spectrum of commonalities among our clients, including journaling, gender-based, relaxation techniques, mental health, trauma, LGBTQ, activities of adult living (ADL), and family groups.

But it is what happens at Lighthouse outside of the formal clinical experience that makes a lasting impact on our clients. We provide the opportunity for our clients to engage in a variety of activities which further creates family-like bonds and commitment to one another that strengthens the recovery process for everyone.

OUTPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH AND/OR
SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER (OP)

Our Outpatient Program is for our clients who are moving through the stages of change in their life and no longer require the intensive services of 5, 4, and 3 day IOP. These services are also available to those who are stable, but for whom on-going monitoring is beneficial to their continued recovery. Outpatient services include:

  • Individual counseling
  • Case management
  • Medication-assisted treatment (SUBOXONE® and VIVITROL®), as needed
  • Random drug screening

Similar to the individualized treatment provided through 5, 4, and 3 day IOP, OP offers the opportunity to participate in specialized groups that include journaling, gender-based, relaxation techniques, mental health, trauma, LGBTQ, activities of adult living (ADL), and family groups. By embracing the whole person and fostering a strong sense of self, the OP program helps clients achieve changes in their substance use and mental health symptoms that allow them to cope with the daily tasks of life in a healthy manner.

Testimonials

“I’ve tried 6 other treatment programs. This is the first one that I have been successful in. I think it’s because they gave me a community that wouldn’t let me fall. Before I came here I was living under a bridge. Today I live in a beautiful home and have a family of my choosing. ”
